Privacy, plainly

Effective July 6, 2026

01 — What we collect
02 — Why we process it, and our legal basis

To hold your number in the demo register and fulfil the (pretend) commission, to answer you when signed in, to keep the service secure — and nothing else.

Where a privacy law applies, our bases for processing are performance of a contract (your register entry and its details), our legitimate interests (answering you, improving the concierge, and keeping the service secure), and your consent for anything you volunteer to the client book — which you may withdraw at any time.

Data minimization is the principle here, not an afterthought. We ask for a shipping address only because the register mirrors a real commission; we ask for nothing a demonstration doesn't need — no phone number, no date of birth, and never any payment details. We collect no sensitive personal information.

03 — What we never do

Because we neither sell nor share, California law does not require a “Do Not Sell or Share” link here, and there is no sensitive-data use to limit. Global Privacy Control signals are honored by default all the same — there is simply nothing to opt out of.

04 — Where it lives, and international transfers

Register entries are stored with Supabase (hosted Postgres, US region). Concierge chat is processed by Anthropic's Claude API: messages you type are sent to Anthropic to generate the answer, handled under its standard commercial terms, and not used to train models.

This is a US-based demonstration served to US visitors, and both providers are in the United States — so there is no cross-border transfer to a third country to safeguard.

The pages themselves load no third-party resources — even the typefaces are served from our own origin — so simply visiting sends your IP address to no other company.

05 — Your rights

Wherever you are, you may know and access what we hold, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, and restrict or object to processing; where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time. California residents hold the matching rights to know, delete, and correct. Exercising any of them never changes how we treat you — non-discrimination is the rule.

One email to [email protected] handles any of it. We verify a request simply: reply from the address on file. We answer within 45 days. An authorized agent may act for you; we will confirm with you first.

If you believe we have mishandled your data, raise it with us first — and, if you are a California resident, you may also contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or the Attorney General.

06 — Automated service & profiling

The concierge is an automated system, not a human — it says so in its own footer, and it means it. It tailors what it says from your orders and the preferences in your client book, which is a light form of profiling to personalize service. It makes no decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect about you, so it is not the kind of solely-automated decision-making GDPR Article 22 restricts. You may object to the personalization and still use the demo.

07 — Retention

Register entries and chat logs are kept only while the demonstration runs, and are deleted on request or when the study ends — whichever comes first. Security records — including the IP address recorded with a conversation and order-change logs — are retained for the demonstration's duration so that abuse can be investigated, then deleted with the rest.

08 — Security

Data is guarded by row-level access controls in the database, encryption in transit, and secrets kept only on the server — never in your browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we collect little, so there is little at stake.

09 — Children

This demonstration is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has entered data, write to us and we will remove it.

10 — Who we are, changes & contact

The data controller for this demo is Feierabend Textil — a fictional house created for this concept study. This notice is effective July 6, 2026. If the demonstration changes in a way that touches your data, this page will say so before the change does anything. Questions, corrections, deletions, or any right above: [email protected].

Read less than you think — there is simply not much collected.
